With a new invasive insect knocking on Canada’s door, the so called “murder hornet” has yet to be spotted this year. Biology Professor Heath MacMillan<\/a> believes that our harsh winter’s might be to thank for this. Different insects have varying cold tolerances and invasive pest and insects can have a difficult time establishing because of our winters.<\/p>\n
