The decisions made today will shape the communities of tomorrow, making youth perspectives essential to strong, informed public policy. Early involvement in civic life also helps build lifelong habits of democratic engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Encouraging youth participation in municipal government is a key priority of the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO), including supporting young people interested in municipal leadership and public service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This commitment is reflected in the AMO Youth Fellowship Program, an experiential learning opportunity that selects three young people from across Ontario to engage directly with AMO\u2019s work.
