All D2L <\/span>Brightspace\u00a0<\/span>c<\/span>ourses<\/span> come with a built-in grades tool that instructors can customize to display course grading information. Once an instructor or TA has entered and released grades in the gradebook, students can view their grades in their own individual grader reports.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

You can configure the setup of your gradebook under the\u202f<\/span><\/span>Manage Grades<\/span><\/span><\/em>\u202f tab of your gradebook.

  1. Complete the Setup Wizard\u00a0<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Set up grade\u00a0Categories\u00a0to group similar assessments together (ex\/ Quizzes)<\/a><\/li>\n
  3. Create Grade Items<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The\u00a0<\/span>Setup Wizard<\/span><\/i>\u00a0is the first step in creating your gradebook.\u00a0<\/span>If this is your\u00a0<\/span>first time<\/span>\u00a0accessing\u00a0<\/span>Grades\u00a0<\/span><\/i>in your sandbox<\/span>\u00a0or course<\/span>, you will automatically be directed to the seven-step <\/span>Setup Wizard<\/span><\/i>.
