Importing the D2L Brightspace Course Template into Your Course<\/h2>\n

  1. Visit the Brightspace Course Setup Resources page<\/a>. Download the course template file.<\/li>\n
  2. Log in to\u00a0Brightspace<\/a>\u00a0with your MyCarletonOne credentials.<\/li>\n
  3. On the\u00a0Brightspace<\/em>\u00a0homepage, locate your course in one of the following ways:\n

    • \n
        \n
      • Click on the course tile under\u00a0the\u00a0My Courses\u00a0<\/em>widget.<\/li>\n
      • Click the\u00a0Course Selector Grid\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0<\/i>and select the course from the drop-down menu. If you are enrolled in more than 20 courses, you can search for the course name using the search bar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • In the navbar, click Course Admin<\/strong>.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\"\"<\/li>\n
      • Under Site Resources, click Import\/Export\/Copy Components<\/strong>.\"\"<\/li>\n
      • Select Import Components.<\/strong><\/li>\n
      • Select From a course package\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
      • Click Start<\/strong><\/li>\n
      • Drag and drop the downloaded template file onto the Upload<\/strong> button or click Upload<\/strong> to select the downloaded file from your computer.<\/li>\n
      • Click Import All Components<\/strong> to add the template to your course. Your course content will automatically begin importing.<\/li>\n
      • Click View Content <\/strong>to view your imported content.\u00a0 The course template with it’s modules and submodules will now be in your course ready for you to customize.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
