Once an assessment in D2L Brightspace has been completed and graded, instructors are able to access aggregate and individual statistics related to the grades. In your course’s Grade Book, you can find two types of reports related to grades: Grade Statistics<\/a> and Event Logs<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a>Grade Statistics\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Grade Statistics in Brightspace contain Class Statistics as well as Individuals User (student) grade statistics.<\/p>\n

Grade Statistics<\/h3>\n

Accessing the grade statistics page allows access to Class Statistics tab and User Statistics tab within your course.<\/p>\n

<\/a>To access the grade statistics page: <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n

  1. Log into your course with your MyCarletonOne credentials.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Click on <\/span>Progress<\/span><\/b> in the NavBar.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Select <\/span>Grades<\/span><\/b> from the drop-down menu.\u00a0<\/span>

    NOTE: <\/strong>If you haven\u2019t yet set up your gradebook, you will be prompted to do so.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/li>\n
  4. Click on either the <\/span>Manage Grades<\/span><\/b> tab or <\/span>Enter Grades<\/span><\/b>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Click on the action menu next to the grade item of interest.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Select <\/span>View Statistics<\/span><\/b> from the drop-down menu.<\/span>
    \nYou now have two options for statistics to access: <\/span>Class Statistics<\/span><\/b> and <\/span>User Statistics<\/span><\/b>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Select the <\/span>Class Statistics<\/span><\/b> or <\/span>User Statistics<\/span><\/b> Tab.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Click the <\/span>View Statistics For<\/span><\/b> drop-down menu. <\/span>You can change the <\/span>View By<\/span><\/b> field to User, Group, or Section if you have groups and\/or sections in your course. This can be helpful to try and compare grades by different TA Groups or different teaching sections.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    NOTE: <\/strong>When viewing statistics for Brightspace\u2019s Final Calculated Grade item, you have the additional ability to toggle between this grade item and the Final Adjusted Grade item.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
