Carleton\u2019s Learning Management System (LMS) \u2014 Brightspace \u2014 comes equipped with the ability to build rubrics right into the LMS\u2019s evaluations. Step-by-step instructions for setting up rubrics in Brightspace can be found on our <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/brightspace\/instructors\/creating-rubrics\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Creating Rubrics page<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Rubric Statistics vs Grade Statistics<\/h3>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Once you have created a rubric and used it to provide students with feedback (and possibly shared it with your students), you might be interested in examining the associated data. These Rubric Statistics provide granular statistics for the criteria outlined in the rubric (Criteria Statistics). If you are looking for aggregate information related to student&#8217;s grades, you should look at <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/brightspace\/instructors\/grade-statistics-event-logs\/\">Grade Statistics<\/a> instead. <\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Accessing Rubric Statistics<\/h2>\n<p>To get an overview of Rubric Statistics, you will need to access the Competency Activities tab in the Rubrics statistics page of your Brightspace Course.
