Zoom<\/a> is a web-based video conferencing service for collaborating with others online. It is available across multiple platforms such as desktop and mobile. Your instructor may be using Zoom to hold classes online. You can also use Zoom to meet with your classmates for group projects or study groups.<\/p>\n

Join a Zoom Meeting<\/h2>\n

You can join a Zoom meeting from the Zoom desktop application, a web browser, or within a D2L Brightspace course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

Join a Meeting from Brightspace<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

  1. Log in to Brightspace<\/a> with your MyCarletonOne<\/em> username and password.<\/li>\n
  2. Click on your course under\u00a0My Courses<\/em>\u00a0or the\u00a0course selector grid\u00a0\"\"<\/em><\/li>\n
  3. Click Content<\/strong> in the course Navbar.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\"\"<\/li>\n
  4. In the left sidebar, click the module name under Table of Contents<\/em> to open the module that holds the Zoom meeting link.<\/li>\n
  5. Click the Zoom link<\/strong> to open it.<\/li>\n
  6. Find the relevant meeting from the list and click Join<\/strong>.

    NOTE:<\/strong> Check the Zoom link well before class time to confirm which meeting to join.
