Carleton University will run a limited set of courses on the new Learning Management System, beginning in January 2021 through to April 2021. These 31 courses from across faculties, in both undergraduate and graduate levels, make up the Brightspace pilot. The goal of the pilot is to test out the new LMS setup, its integrations and configuration. The pilot will help identify technical issues and challenges to resolve prior to the May 2021 roll out of the LMS to the campus. In addition, the pilot will help us better understand the support systems needed for a successful transition.<\/p>\n
The application period for the pilot has now closed. Instructors and students participating in the pilot will be supported throughout their use of Brightspace by D2L Support (offered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year) and by Teaching and Learning Services.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
