Simone joined CABER as an undergraduate research assistant after completing her first year in Architectural Conservation and Sustainability Engineering at Carleton University in May 2026. With a passion for building retrofits and sustainable design, she\u2019s driven by the challenge of improving how we build a more sustainable future. What drew Simone to the CABER team was the chance to dive deeper into innovative building materials and to take part in hands-on, meaningful research that connects directly to real-world sustainability challenges.<\/p>\n
