Robin joined the CABER group in September 2022 for her <\/span>M.A.Sc.<\/span>\u00a0in Sustainable Energy Engineering, and she began her PhD in Building Engineering in May 2024. Robin\u2019s master\u2019s thesis research was focused on hygrothermal testing and simulation using the guarded hot box. Her current research focuses on structurally insulated panel testing, hygrothermal performance, simulation, and environmental impact analysis.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

She completed her undergraduate studies (B.A.Sc.) in Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo in 2015. Her professional experience includes seven years working in the refrigeration industry in a variety of roles including automation and controls engineering, mechanical design, and sales.<\/p>\n

After living in wide variety of rental housing in Toronto, Edmonton and Ottawa, Robin is interested in creating ways for buildings to adapt for climate change and improve Canada\u2019s housing conditions.<\/p>\n
