Glen Smith is a Canadian Armed Forces Personnel Selection Officer, with 29 years of service. HIs research interests include personnel selection for emerging technology; the structure of spatial ability and its application in task performance. Previous projects include various job analyses for the United States Air Force and Canadian Armed Forces; Designing selection systems for human intelligence; air traffic control; airfield management; aerospace physiology; geomatics; search and rescue; Validation studies of cognitive tests for use in the Canadian Armed Forces. Current projects include online simulations to determine the typology of spatial skills and its application to task performance.
