The distance from Toronto is 500 kilometres while Montreal is 200 kilometres away. Exit Highway 417 (also called the \u201cQueensway\u201d) at Bronson Avenue. Follow Bronson Avenue south approximately 2 kilometres. The campus entrance will be on the right at the intersection of Bronson and Sunnyside Avenue.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"cu-column-content\">\n    \n\n<h2 id=\"via-highway-416\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Via Highway 416<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Hwy 416 connects Hwy 401 (interchange near Prescott, Ontario) to Hwy 417. Follow Hwy. 416 to Hwy. 417 (East). Follow Hwy. 417 (the \u201cQueensway\u201d) and exit at Bronson Avenue. Follow Bronson Avenue south approximately 2 kilometres. The campus entrance will be on the right at the intersection of Bronson and Sunnyside Avenue.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n    <\/div>\n\n\n    <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"arrival-by-train-or-bus\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Arrival by Train or Bus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The 15-minute taxi ride from the Ottawa (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.viarail.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Via Rail<\/a>) train station to Carleton University\u2019s Residence Commons costs approximately $15.00. Taxi fare from the Ottawa (Voyageur) bus terminal to Carleton University is approximately $10.00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.octranspo1.com\/splash\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">OCTranspo<\/a>\u2018s new Light Rail System \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.octranspo1.com\/routes\/o-train\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The OTrain<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The O-Train provides service to Carleton University from the transit stations at Bayview (Lebreton Flats) and Greenboro (South Keys) with stops at Carling and Confederation Heights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"arrival-by-airplane\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Arrival by Airplane<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/yow.ca\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ottawa International Airport (YOW)<\/a><br>The taxi ride from the Ottawa Airport to Carleton University\u2019s Residence Commons costs approximately $15.00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.admtl.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Montr\u00e9al-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (Montr\u00e9al-Trudeau) (ADM)<\/a><br>Montreal is two hours by bus from Ottawa. Tickets for the Voyageur Colonial Bus from Dorval Airport to the Ottawa Bus Terminal cost approximately $25 and can be purchased at the airport. Five buses run daily from Montreal to Ottawa from 1:20 to 10:20 p.m. Voyageur Colonial Bus telephone: (613) 238-5900. Taxi fare from the Ottawa bus terminal to Carleton University is approximately $10.00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.torontopearson.com\/#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Toronto Pearson International Airport (GTAA)<\/a><br>Toronto is approximately five hours from Ottawa by car. We suggest that you fly from Toronto to Ottawa (less than one hour flight).
