Do settler and ethnic nations pursue separate or converging approaches towards immigration and citizenship? Using two recent path-breaking books, \u201cImmigration Dialectic\u201d and \u201cBecoming Multicultural\u201d, as entry-points for discussion, this roundtable explores immigration and citizenship policies, practices and discourse in Canada and Germany, exemplifying a settler and an ethnic nation.<\/p>\n
