Carleton teaching fellow, she received the International teaching award D2L 2019.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Her doctoral research examined recurring historiographical battles and put forward the idea of refoundation (in French : refondation) for exploring the narrative and rhetorical structures of \u201ctextual \u00a0events\u201d canon to Quebec\u2019s history.<\/p>\n<p>Sense of belonging, national representations, identity narratives, and textual archeology are the compass points of her intellectual queries. Her current research critically explores representations of Canadian and Quebec histories and narratives through theatre and museum representations.<\/p>\n<p>Anne Tr\u00e9panier serves in the School of Canadian Studies and in the Department of French. She collaborates regularly with Migration and Diaspora Studies and the History Department. She is an active member of Association internationale des \u00e9tudes qu\u00e9b\u00e9coises and an affiliated researcher to the Center for the Study of French Canadian Civilization (University of Ottawa).<\/p>\n<p>Anne Tr\u00e9panier collaborates frequently to public history projects and initiates academic conferences. Elle collabore r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement au programme d\u2019\u00e9tudes sur la migration et la diaspora ainsi qu\u2019avec le D\u00e9partement d\u2019histoire. Elle est membre du Centre de recherche en civilisation canadienne-fran\u00e7aise de l\u2019universit\u00e9 d\u2019Ottawa et une membre active de l\u2019association internationale des \u00e9tudes qu\u00e9b\u00e9coises. Ses recherches doctorales ont examin\u00e9 les conflits historiographiques et ont propos\u00e9 l&#8217;id\u00e9e de refondation pour explorer les structures narratives et rh\u00e9toriques des \u00ab \u00e9v\u00e9nements textuels \u00bb \u00e0 l\u2019origine du canon historique qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Anne Tr\u00e9panier est une historienne sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e en historiographie, une enseignante passionn\u00e9e et une autrice prim\u00e9e. Le sentiment d&#8217;appartenance, les repr\u00e9sentations nationales, les r\u00e9cits identitaires et l\u2019arch\u00e9ologie textuelle sont les points cardinaux de ses recherches.
