*** 2026 Call for Abstracts is now closed! Thank you for all your submissions ***<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The 2026 CanCH4 Symposium will be held at Carleton University in Ottawa on May 20-21, 2026. The event will feature leading experts, policy makers and analysts, technology providers, industry stakeholders, and academic researchers. The technical program will be developed by a dedicated scientific committee based on an open call for presentations, technical posters, and panel discussions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Please submit your abstracts within the following cross-sectoral themes:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Measured Inventories and Trends<\/li>\n
  2. Detection and Quantification, Continuous Monitoring, Mobile platforms, Satellites<\/li>\n
  3. Measurement, Reporting & Verification (MRV)<\/li>\n
  4. Data-Backed Analysis of Mitigation Potential, Technologies, and Technoeconomics<\/li>\n
  5. Regulatory Effectiveness and Methane Policy<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    We encourage you to submit an abstract even if it does not perfectly fit these specific themes. <\/span><\/p>\n

    Accepted abstracts will be shared with conference attendees and should not exceed 2 pages. <\/span><\/p>\n

    Since spaces are limited, please submit your abstracts as soon as possible or no later than March 1, 2026<\/strong> (11:59 PST). Abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific committee for suitability as they are received. Authors will be notified of acceptance as early as possible and asked to prepare a poster to present at the symposium. A subset of abstracts will be selected for brief presentation in panels organized around common themes.<\/span><\/p>\n
