A policy brief, Power Sector Integration in the North American Northeast<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>by\u00a0Pierre-Olivier Pineau, HEC Montr\u00e9al, is available to read at the Publications<\/a> page. Dr. Pineau discusses a North American Northeast coalition of two Canadian provinces and the New England states which committed to fighting climate change and reducing green house gas emissions. He provides an analysis and a rationale for fostering regional power sector integration.<\/p>\n

This policy brief is part of a series from a policy workshop, \u2018Clean Energy and Climate Policy in Canada: An Exchange of Experiences, Views and Visions for the Future<\/a>,\u201d organized in February 2018, by the Centre for European Studies Jean Monnet Network on EU-Canada Relations:The EU and Canada in Dialogue <\/em>and is funded in part by a grant under the Erasmus+ Programme<\/a> of the European Union, by Carleton University and by partner universities.
