Dr. Benz writes about the lessons learned with Germany’s Renewable Energy Sources Act of 2000<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Read two earlier energy policy briefs published online. The first, Pricing Carbon Effectively: Lessons from the European Emissions Trading System<\/a> <\/em>by Dallas Burtraw, Resources for the Future and Michael Themann, RWI \u2013 Leibniz Institute for Economic Research, discusses a model for market-based approaches to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in other world regions. The second, <\/a>Power Sector Integration in the North American Northeast<\/em><\/a> by Pierre-Olivier Pineau, HEC Montr\u00e9al, focuses on a unique regional shared commitment to fight climate change.<\/p>\n
