Co-op TECHWorking Night

December 1, 2022 at 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM

Location:Kanata
Cost:Free

Who this is for: Co-op students in all programs, with a particular focus on students in STEM programs
What you will get out of it: In-person networking with tech employers

Join us for Co-op’s premier event of the semester!

Participating employers include Nokia, Ross Video, Ciena, Marvell, and more to come.

TECHworking is your opportunity to network in person with some of Ottawa’s top tech employers. This event is open to all co-op students who are interested in working in the booming local tech sector. Make your way to Kanata (transportation available*), enjoy light refreshments, meaningful conversations, and your chance to win one of two door prizes.

By participating in this event, you will not only be able to leave a lasting impression on the employers you meet, but you will also be able to leave your resume for employers in the digital Resume Book. After the event, each employer will receive a copy of the Co-op Resume Book, which will contain resumes from all co-op students who attended the event and submitted their resumes. This is your chance to get a head start on your summer job search!

*Transportation: Carleton University Co-op will be providing a shuttle from CTTC building @ 4:45pm on the day of the event and will be departing Kanata at 8:15pm to return to campus. To reserve a seat on the shuttle, please email Jacob Hemens at JacobHemens@cunet.carleton.ca.
