Hoodie Giveaway – Fall Career & Networking Fair 2025: Contest Rules and Regulations
The Contest Period
The contest is run by Carleton University’s Career Services. The Contest will run on October 15, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Eligibility
Contestants must be currently enrolled as a Carleton student and is a resident of Canada who has reached the age of majority in their province of residence. The Contest is not open to staff and faculty of Carleton. The contest is not open to residents of Quebec.
How to Enter
Register for the 2025 Fall Career & Networking Fair on mySuccess/CUHire and attend the 2025 Fall Career & Networking Fair on October 15, 2025. There is no fee to enter this contest, and no purchase or other consideration is necessary.
Prizes
There will be five (5) Carleton-branded hoodies (Spirit Day Items) awarded by a random draw to the contest winners.
The value of each individual prize is $20 CDN and consists of one hoodie (Spirit Day Item).
The chosen entrant will be required to submit their Carleton University ID (CUID) to confirm eligibility. The prizes have no cash redemption value. Carleton University makes no express or implied warranties of any kind with respect to safety or performance of the contest prizes.
Selection and Awarding the Prizes
Contestants are automatically entered into the contest by registering and attending the 2025 Fall Career & Networking Fair on October 15, 2025, between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. On October 16-21, five (5) winners will be randomly selected from an online randomized picking platform.
The contest winner will be notified October 16-21, 2025, via cmail and provided with a voucher and instructions on how to retrieve the prize. Winners will have five days to respond to the email from Career Services, otherwise their entry will be disqualified and they will forfeit the prize. A mathematical skill testing question will be required before pickup.
Disqualification: If any one of the contest conditions is not met, the selected entrant will be disqualified and shall not be entitled to receive any prizes. Career Services has the sole and absolute discretion to verify the information provided in the student’s entry form. If any information is deemed to be false, Career Services reserves the right to disqualify that entrant in their absolute discretion and to select another eligible entrant as a potential prize winner. The decision of the aforementioned parties is final and binding, without any right of appeal.
