In  2016-2017,  5  graduate students ( Mehreen Anjum, Natalie Fersht, Hayley Miloff, Laura O’Dell and Claire Pilon-Robertson), two professors ( Renate Ysseldyk, Health and Susan Braedley, Social Work) and one community social worker ( Sybil Braganza, Ottawa Social Planning Council),  embarked on research to investigate how care giving and social isolation might be related in the lives of immigrant seniors from a variety of groups in Ottawa who preferred to be called “ethnocultural seniors’ groups”. The videos on this page discuss some of our findings. The videos were developed by Karissa Gall, a Masters of Journalism student, and Dr. Susan Braedley.
