The developmental ability of children between six and eighteen months varies significantly. Our curriculum has been designed to address the developmental needs of each child. Children are natural learners and they will seek out and participate in activities that contribute to their development. The infant staff act as facilitators of the children’s learning by creating opportunities for each child to interact with materials, equipment, space and people. The activities provided in the infant program are broad-based, open and interactive. A balance of experiences is available including both planned and spontaneous, child-initiated and adult-directed, solitary and social, active and quiet, indoor and outdoor. Walks on campus are a regular part of the infant program.
