Since graduating from Carleton’s Environmental Engineering Program in 2001, Colin has been working in the environmental consulting industry with a specialty in air quality modelling and toxic substance reduction planning.

He has been involved in more than a hundred environmental projects, including
• Environmental Compliance Approvals
• Environmental Review Tribunals
• Environmental Assessments
• Ontario Municipal Board hearings
• Forensic analysis of historical events
• Industry impact surveys
• National Pollutant Release Inventories
• Toxic Substance Reduction Plans

Over his career, he has assessed the full gamut of air quality impacts, including:
• Indoor air quality
• Exhaust re-entrainment using wind tunnels
• Gaussian and Lagrangian dispersion modelling
• Regional airshed modelling
