By knowing where social and political events occur, while also considering economic and historical factors, you gain spatial perspective and begin to understand the relationship between people and their environments and the interaction between groups of people more generally.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-large wp-image-1466\" title=\"Globe\" src=\"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/ces\/eulearning\/wp-content\/uploads\/Globe-400x400.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The geography of Europe has been an extremely important factor in shaping world events.
