Students provided with case studies and scenarios discussed how to determine\u00a0who qualifies as an EU refugee and applied newly learned criteria to scenarios in order to understand the difference between migrant and refugee. Learn more about the <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/home-affairs\/what-we-do\/policies\/asylum_en\">Common European Union Asylum System<\/a>\u00a0and the <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/home-affairs\/what-we-do\/policies\/international-affairs\/global-approach-to-migration\">EU&#8217;s approach to a global migration<\/a>.
