Dr. Frank Umbach <\/strong><\/p>\n

Senior Associate and Head of the International Energy Security Program at the Centre for European Security Strategies (Munich-Berlin)<\/em><\/p>\n

Global Energy Challenges and the Implications for the EU’s Common Energy Policies<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event will be introduced by the Head of the EU Delegation, Ambassador Matthias Brinkmann.<\/p>\n

The lecture will analyze the EU’s evolving energy policies and the increasing need for protection of critical energy infrastructures against old and new forms of attack, including Cyber threats. An open discussion will follow the lecture.<\/p>\n

Dr. Frank\u00a0Umbach<\/strong> is is also Associate Director in the European Centre for Energy and Resource Security (EUCERS) at King’s College, London and Consultant for\u00a0 International Energy Security and Security Policies.<\/p>\n
