The Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence<\/a> is pleased to host the policy workshop,\u00a0“Prosperous, Secure and Sovereign Together: Making Canada-Europe Economic Cooperation Stronger!”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Event Description:<\/strong>\u00a0This one-day conference will bring together leading academics, policy-makers, politicians, and business leaders from Canada and Europe to explore opportunities for deeper cooperation to achieve greater prosperity, security and sovereignty. Against a backdrop of growing geopolitical uncertainty, the event will provide a platform for informed dialogue on shared challenges and strategic priorities shaping Canada-Europe economic security relations.<\/p>\n

Discussions will focus on issues such as supply chain resilience, critical minerals, infrastructure protection, energy security, advanced manufacturing, and digital and technological sovereignty. They will also examine existing cooperation initiatives between Canada and its European partners, notably the European Union. By fostering cross-sector exchange and practical insights, the workshop aims to identify opportunities for collaboration, inform policy approaches and strengthen transatlantic partnerships in addressing complex and interrelated security challenges.<\/p>\n
