After Brexit, the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom (UK) negotiated the Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA) to manage their economic relationship. The TCA began applying provisionally on January 1, 2021. The policy brief analyzes the impact of the TCA on Canada\u2019s economic relations with both the EU and the UK.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/ces\/wp-content\/uploads\/Leblond-Ramiarison-Brexit-and-Canada-Europe-Economic-Relations-Policy-Brief-Spring-2022_final.pdf\">Please read the policy brief here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This policy brief is based on a chapter written for the volume, <em>Canada\u2019s EU relations and the UK\u2019s compared<\/em>, to be published by Routledge and edited by Nanette Neuwahl and Amy Verdun.<\/p>\n<p><em>T<\/em><em>he policy brief is produced by the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence at Carleton University in cooperation with the CN \u2013 Paul M. Tellier Chair on Business and Public Policy at the University of Ottawa.
