While often overlooked in contemporary foreign policy discourses, commercial relations between Russia and Canada are a fascinating and critical component of bi-lateral connection. In this special lecture,\u00a0Mr. Lou Naumovski<\/strong>\u00a0will share his professional insights into the state of Canadian-Russia commercial relations, past and present.<\/p>\n

The event will take place on\u00a0Thursday, January 7, 2016. 2:30-4:00pm.<\/strong>\u00a0MacOdrum Library, ML 482.<\/strong>\u00a0Carleton University.<\/p>\n

Mr. Naumovski<\/strong>\u00a0is the Vice President and General Manager of the Moscow Representative Office, Kinross Gold Corporation (the largest Canadian investor in Russia), and Chairman of the National Board of the Canada-Eurasia-Russia Business Association (CERBA). During the 1980s, he worked as a diplomat and trade commissioner for Canada, with assignments in Russia, Iraq and Georgia. Mr. Naumovski also helped to launch, and was the first Executive\u00a0Director of the Canada – USSR Business Council from 1990-1992.<\/p>\n
