As the presiding official at all convocation ceremonies, the Chancellor confers degrees and represents the aspirations of students, faculty, alumni and supporters. Beyond ceremonial duties, the Chancellor plays an active role in promoting the university\u2019s interests, supporting fundraising and philanthropic initiatives, and strengthening connections with the broader community.
