So it might not be obvious but the standards that protect you in the workplace do not come from government rather from the American Conference of Government Industrial Hygienists and the American Industrial Industrial Hygiene Association and for ventilation ASHRAE.<\/p>\n

So it is that this second edition of the guidelines on mold define current best practice and in Health Canada\u2019s guidelines for investigation and management of mold, the reader is referred to these guidelines. All Provinces incorporate these guidelines by reference as is the case in the Canada Labour Code.<\/p>\n

As with the AAAAI guidelines on environmental allergens, these guidelines are informed by work done in Canada including since I came to Carleton University.<\/p>\n
