Mina Cohn was born in Israel and currently lives in Ottawa, both of Mina’s parents were Holocaust survivors. Mina is an archaeologist by profession and sessional professor at Carleton University in Ottawa. A member of Ottawa Shoah Committee for the past 30 years and the Chair for five and a half years with a strong interest in Holocaust remembrance and education. She is the Director of the Centre for Holocaust Education and Scholarship at the Max and Tessie Zelikovitz Centre. Mina is married, has three children and four grandchildren.
