Toby Herscovitch is a freelance writer and avid volunteer, both as a committee member for the Centre for Holocaust Education and Scholarship, and as Ottawa co-president for Na’amat Canada, which improves the lives of women and families in Israel and Canada. Toby’s career has spanned holding senior public affairs and editorial roles for Crown corporation Export Development Canada, running her own small public relations business and working as a journalist. Her articles have appeared in various Canadian newspapers, and trade and health magazines, in print and online. She is a graduate of Carleton University’s School of Journalism, a married mother of two, and the daughter of Holocaust survivors.
