Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As geopolitical tensions and societal divisions continue to affect people around the world, Carleton recognizes that these broader realities are also felt on our campus. Carleton community members have shared concerns about experiences that have impacted their sense of belonging, inclusion and connection to the university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CHRB Task Force invites members of the Carleton University community to share their stories and experiences of being part of this diverse community. Your voice matters, and your insights will help us strengthen the sense of belonging for everyone at Carleton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During this listening phase, the goal is to understand the experiences that shape Carleton\u2019s community and to support meaningful, lasting action. Carleton\u2019s work is grounded in trust, integrity and open communication \u2014 knowing that trust is something we must earn through transparency and follow-through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guided by Indigenous principles of Peace, a Good Mind, and Strength<\/strong>, the Task Force seeks to come together in a good way. This process centres Indigenous teachings of shared voice, collective responsibility and deep relational practice. The Indigenous Elders supporting the process believe everyone has a role to play in listening, contributing, and moving together with good minds and good hearts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
