\n Composition\n <\/h1>\n \n \n <\/header>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

The Task Force will be made up of 11 members, comprised of a representative group of constituencies at Carleton, and Co-Chairs. The composition will be as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • Co-Chairs (appointed by the President and Provost)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 1 faculty member or librarian (appointed by CUASA)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 1 member of the professional\/administrative staff  (appointed by CUPE)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 1 graduate student (appointed by GSA Carleton)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 1 undergraduate student (appointed by CUSA)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 1 member of Senate (appointed by Senate Executive Committee)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 1 member of the Board of Governors (appointed by Executive Committee of the Board)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 5 Associate Deans with responsibility for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion or faculty members (appointed by their respective Deans)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    The President may appoint additional members as necessary to enable the Task Force to deliver on its mandate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Administrative and Professional<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Professional expertise will be provided by the office’s of University Legal Services and Equity and Inclusive Communities, complemented by administrative support from the Office of Quality Initiatives and the Department of University Communications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Indigenous Elders<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Task Force will draw on the counsel of Indigenous Elders to incorporate Indigenous ways of facilitating the process, generating consensus, enabling healing and reconciliation, and building community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
