Kahente Horn-Miller, who led the launch of the Task Force, is now on medical leave and has stepped back from her role as chair. We wish her well and extend our collective support for her recovery.<br><br>We are pleased to share that <strong>Cathy Malcolm Edwards<\/strong> and <strong>Sarah Todd<\/strong> have been appointed as co-chairs to lead the Task Force and maintain the momentum of its mandate, which will continue to draw on the counsel of Indigenous Elders and Indigenous approaches to healing, reconciliation, community and belonging.\u00a0<br><br>Malcolm Edwards currently serves as lead, Coordinated Accessibility Strategy Implementation, which advances institution-wide initiatives that connect accessibility-focused efforts to meaningful, action-oriented practice. Her work bridges design, accessibility and policy, supporting environments in which people can participate fully and where change efforts are both thoughtful and sustainable. Malcolm Edwards has more than 30 years of experience working with researchers, educators, policy partners and community members. She is known for building strong, collaborative relationships and for designing inclusive processes that support open dialogue and shared understanding.<br>\u00a0<br>Todd currently serves as director of Carleton\u2019s Arthur Kroeger College of Public Affairs. She is Professor in the School of Social Work, where she continues to teach and supervise students. Todd passionately believes in supporting universities as places for discovery and the exchange of ideas.\u202fOver decades of working with community members, students, research teams and Carleton colleagues, Todd has worked in values-based ways that remain open to learning and growing with others while developing processes that support the meaningful contributions of everyone.\u00a0<br><br>Please join us in welcoming the Task Force\u2019s new co-chairs.
