Sylvie Jasen coordinates initiatives that support the development of the international research portfolio and the strategic goals of the Office of the Vice-President (Research and International). Her role includes coordinating funding opportunities and research projects, facilitating international research collaboration, conducting research on broader foreign educational systems, and supporting a variety of events and delegations.<\/p>\n
Sylvie has held various positions at Carleton, both academic and administrative, for over 15 years. She has a background in research and teaching, having completed a PhD at the Institute for Comparative Studies in Literature, Art, and Culture, and taught in both the Department of Film Studies and the School of Journalism and Communications.
