Through the Canada-Chile Leadership Exchange Scholarship <\/a>program the Government of Canada is seeking applications from Canadian publicly funded institutions, on behalf of Masters or PhD students from Chile, for funding to carry out research at a Canadian institution four to six months.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Canadian institutions must submit applications on behalf of candidate.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Only Chilean citizens can apply to this scholarship program.<\/p>\n

\u2022For graduate applications, an inter-institutional agreement is desirable but not mandatory. If there is no existing agreement, graduate applications which involve a new or established collaboration between professors from a Canadian and Chilean university will be accepted.<\/p>\n

\u2022 $7,500 CAN is available for graduate students for a period of four months of research or $10,000 CAN for graduate students for a period of five or six months research.<\/p>\n

\u2022Graduate students conducting research must arrive in Canada between August 2012 and March 15,\u00a02013<\/p>\n
