The deadline to apply is <strong>March 31, 2017 at 5 p.m. PST.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Projects last 12\u201324 weeks and are open to graduate students. Select destinations are also open to senior undergraduates. Funding varies by destination.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>For students in Canada to do research in Brazil:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mitacs.ca\/en\/programs\/globalink\/globalink-research-award?utm_source=call&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=GRACall-Jan312017-InternationalContacts\">Globalink Research Award<\/a> \u2013 Brazil<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>o\u00a0\u00a0 Open to senior undergraduate and graduate students<\/p>\n<p>o\u00a0\u00a0 12- to 24-week projects at universities in Brazil<\/p>\n<p>o\u00a0\u00a0 $5,000 award<\/p>\n<p>Graduate students in Canada can also apply for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mitacs.ca\/en\/programs\/globalink\/globalink-partnership-award?utm_source=call&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=GRACall-Jan312017-InternationalContacts\">Globalink Partnership Award<\/a>, which supports research projects abroad with industry partners in any country except the United States.
