Public sector organizations, such as <strong>universities and research institutions<\/strong>, are also eligible to participate in R&amp;D projects as project subcontractors or consultants (not applicants).<\/p>\n<h3>Eligibility<\/h3>\n<p>Lead Applicants:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Canadian for-profit companies that are registered and operate in Canada; Israeli- profit companies that are registered and operate in Israel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Click <a href=\"http:\/\/ciirdf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/CIIRDF-Information-Handbook-for-Applicants_v.5.0.pdf\">here<\/a> for the full applicant and project eligibility criteria and opportunity guidelines.<\/p>\n<h3>Funding available<\/h3>\n<p>CIIRDF provides funding for joint research and development projects undertaken by private sector<br \/>\ncompanies from Canada and Israel.
