Centres of Excellence: Ontario-Jiangsu Industrial Research and Development"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Ontario-Jiangsu Industrial Research and Development Program (OJIRDP) will support joint industrial R&amp;D projects focusing on the development of products or processes that will lead to commercialization in global markets.\u00a0 A partnership of the Jiangsu Science and Technology Department (JSTD) and the Ontario Ministry of Research, Innovation and Science (MRIS), OJIRDP will support projects leading to commercial success and socio-economic benefits for both jurisdictions.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"Objectives\">Program Objectives<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>To support bilateral industrial and technology collaborations that will drive technology development and commercialization in the global marketplace by leveraging industrial and technical capabilities across Ontario and Jiangsu<\/li>\n<li>To develop and enhance cooperation in the field of industrial and technology innovations, to improve competitiveness and to further economic and business collaboration between Ontario and Jiangsu<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Eligibility<\/h3>\n<p>Funding is open, on a competitive basis, to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>In Ontario:<\/strong>\u00a0R&amp;D performing companies or publicly-funded post-secondary institutions (universities, colleges or research hospitals) operating in Ontario.<\/li>\n<li><strong>In Ji<\/strong><strong>an<\/strong><strong>gsu: <\/strong>R&amp;D performing Jiangsu registered companies operating in Jiangsu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Funding Available<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>a maximum of $125,000 CAD per project (for academic applicants) or $150,000 CAD per project (for company applicants) from OCE OJIRDP program to fund the Ontario portion of
