The event brought together researchers from France\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aerospace-valley.com\/\">Aerospace Valley<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/the.cnam.eu\/about-the-cnam\/\">\u00a0CNAM <\/a>(Conservatoire national des arts et m\u00e9tiers) with Carleton faculty from the departments of Aerospace, Electronics and Systems and Computer Engineering.\u00a0 Three targeted areas of\u00a0 research strength at Carleton were explored including noise and vibration control; advanced materials and energy harvesting; and health monitoring of aircraft structures.
