PIs will be required to complete a CU Research Approval Form with departmental, faculty and research security approvals before institutional support is provided.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"slideme\"><dl class=\"slideme__list\"><dt class=\"slideme__term\"><a href=\"#slideme-climate-change-and-environment-call-2nd-cycle\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"slideme-climate-change-and-environment-call-2nd-cycle\" class=\"slideme__heading slideme__trigger\">Climate Change and Environment Call (2nd Cycle)<\/a><\/dt><dd class=\"slideme__description\" id=\"slideme-climate-change-and-environment-call-2nd-cycle\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><p><\/p>\n<p><span data-ogsc=\"rgb(77, 77, 77)\">In collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, the QRDI Council is pleased to announce the launch of the second<\/span><span data-ogsc=\"rgb(77, 77, 77)\">\u00a0cycle of the<\/span>\u00a0<span data-ogsc=\"rgb(77, 77, 77)\"><a href=\"https:\/\/connect.qrdi.org.qa\/scientific-research\/p\/opportunities\/p\/46\">Climate Change and Environment Call<\/a> (CCEC). The research priority areas for this cycle are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Generative artificial intelligence solutions and their applications in the fields of charitable, humanitarian and developmental sectors<\/li>\n<li>Creativity and novelty in the fields of charitable, humanitarian and developmental sectors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each award is up to <strong>QAR <span data-ogsc=\"rgb(77, 77, 77)\">150,000<\/span><\/strong> for up to six months.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Submission deadline: March 5, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p><\/dd><dl><\/div>\n<div class=\"slideme\"><dl class=\"slideme__list\"><dt class=\"slideme__term\"><a href=\"#slideme-path-towards-precision-medicine-8th-cycle\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"slideme-path-towards-precision-medicine-8th-cycle\" class=\"slideme__heading slideme__trigger\">Path Towards Precision Medicine (8th Cycle)<\/a><\/dt><dd class=\"slideme__description\" id=\"slideme-path-towards-precision-medicine-8th-cycle\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><p><\/p>\n<p><span data-ogsc=\"rgb(77, 77, 77)\">In collaboration with the Qatar Precision Health Institute, the QRDI Council is pleased to announce the launch of the eighth<\/span><span data-ogsc=\"rgb(77, 77, 77)\">\u00a0cycle of the<\/span>\u00a0<span data-ogsc=\"rgb(77, 77, 77)\"><a href=\"https:\/\/connect.qrdi.org.qa\/scientific-research\/p\/opportunities\/p\/20\">Path Towards Precision Medicine<\/a> (PPM) call.<\/span><span data-ogsc=\"red\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-ogsc=\"rgb(77, 77, 77)\">The research priority areas for this cycle are<\/span><span data-ogsc=\"rgb(77, 77, 77)\">:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Artificial intelligence, informatics and technology solutions in precision medicine<\/li>\n<li>Community engagement, ethics, policies and implementation strategies in precision medicine<\/li>\n<li>Disease risk stratification in population groups<\/li>\n<li>Integration of genomics and other omics in clinical diagnostics<\/li>\n<li>Pharmacogenomics from discovery to implementation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each award is up to <strong>QAR 800,000 (U.S. $219,178)<\/strong> per year for up to three years.
