Geoff Braun
Geoff joined the Muttart Foundation as Director of Policy in 2021. His perspectives on the charitable sector are informed by his work with the Foundation, as well as past senior leadership roles within both service delivery organizations and those involved in ‘sector-level’ work. The latter includes his time leading policy and research at the Nonprofit Chamber (formerly the Calgary Chamber of Voluntary Organizations). Geoff’s career took a detour through government when, in 2016, he was recruited to the Alberta Office of the Premier to bring a nonprofit focus to stakeholder relations and the work of provincial Cabinet. Over the course of his career, Geoff has gained experience in the fields of child and youth care, disability services, career development, housing, and environment. He is the past CEO of Prospect Human Services and the former Executive Director of Green Calgary. Geoff holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Victoria.
