Sarah Blackwell (Bzhiw-Kwe) is a member of Aundeck Omni Kaning First Nation on beautiful Manitoulin Island, and is a proud Anishinaabe-kwe. She is a survivor of the Sixties Scoop and has lived half of her life reunited with her birth family. She holds a Master’s Degree in Health Studies and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Child & Youth Care.

Sarah is passionate about teaching and encouraging personal growth through discovery of cultural identity and land-based learning. She enjoys being outside, biking and doing yoga in her free time.
