Ren\u00e9e completed her PhD in 2013 and has since held a number of research and policy positions at the Correctional Service of Canada and Public Safety Canada, including Director of Research where she led a team of almost 30 researchers and evaluators working to support evidence-based policy and decision-making in the areas of crime prevention, law enforcement, policing, and corrections.\u00a0 She also served a three-year term as an adjunct professor during which time she co-supervised five undergraduate students\u2019 thesis work, and has collaborated with a number of other jurisdictions to advance their research and applied work in the areas of parole and women offenders.<\/p>\n
