Genevieve Guenther<\/strong> is the founding director of End Climate Silence<\/a>, a volunteer organization that pushes the news media to start talking about the climate crisis with the urgency it deserves. Her next book, The Language of Climate Politics<\/em>, is forthcoming from Oxford University Press.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gal Beckerman<\/span><\/strong> is an author, senior editor for books at <\/span>The Atlantic<\/span><\/em>, and former editor of the<\/span> New York Review of Books<\/span><\/em>. His recent book, <\/span>The Quiet Before: On the Unexpected Origins of Radical Ideas<\/em><\/span><\/a>, discusses the influence of social media on social movements.<\/span><\/p>\n
