For\u00eat Capitale Forest’s\u00a0mission is to mitigate the effects of climate change by planting forests in the capital region and raising awareness of the importance of trees and biodiversity.<\/div>\n
\n

Shelley Crabtree has been the Executive Director of For\u00eat Capitale Forest since 2023. She has over 20 years of experience working on sustainable development initiatives in the agriculture and environment sectors. Her focus was providing communications and knowledge mobilization services to non-profit organizations. Shelley aims to achieve positive social and environmental impacts for the benefit of people and the planet.<\/span><\/p>\n

Colleen Richardson graduated from Trent University with a Bachelor of Environmental Resource Sciences and Studies. Currently a Forestry Coordinator: Farm Operations Lead for FCF. Colleen has worked in conservation, invasive species removal, tree care and tree plantings. With a focus of these actions benefiting the community, helping to strengthen spirituality and connection to the land.<\/span><\/div>\n
