Abstract

R is an increasingly popular open-source system for statistical analysis and data science. It has a wealth of capabilities for data manipulation, analysis, and graphics. This workshop will be an introduction to R, using the easy-to-use RStudio software. We will focus on the use of R for HCI studies, including simple data manipulation, performing common statistical tests, and producing helpful graphs.
