An event post is useful for listing upcoming events. Here are examples of an event post<\/a> and an event listing<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Step by Steps<\/h2>\n

Add an Event<\/h3>\n

  1. Add a new Event using the side or top menu<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Enter a title for your event.<\/li>\n
  3. Enter a blurb about the event in the text editor field<\/li>\n
  4. Scroll down to the Event Content<\/strong> field:\n

    1. \"\"In the When and Where<\/strong> tab, add the date, start time and end time. If it is a multi-day event, enter the end date. Add the location of your event.<\/li>\n
    2. In the Details<\/strong> tab you can include the cost of the event, intended audience,\u00a0and the contact information of the main contact for the event<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    3. Categorize<\/a> your event post.<\/li>\n
    4. Save, schedule, or publish<\/a> the event.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Pull an event listing onto a page<\/h3>\n

      1. \"\"Add\/Edit the page on which you would like to put an events listing.<\/li>\n
      2. Click\u00a0Insert Post Element<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      3. Click the\u00a0List Events<\/strong>\u00a0icon.<\/li>\n
      4. Choose the category or categories of event you would like to list, or leave all the boxed unchecked to list all people.<\/li>\n
      5. Click\u00a0Insert Element<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      6. Update the page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
