People posts can be used to display the profiles of members in your Department.<\/p>\n

Here are examples of a people post<\/a> and a people listing<\/a> on a page.<\/p>\n

Step-by-Step<\/h2>\n

Add a new profile<\/h3>\n

  1. Add a new people post using the side or top menu<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Enter the person\u2019s name into the Title<\/strong> field.<\/li>\n
  3. \"\"In the People Profiles<\/strong> field, fill in the person\u2019s details (first and last name, job title, degree, email address, phone number, etc.)<\/li>\n
  4. You can upload a photo of the person using the\u00a0Add Image\u00a0<\/strong>button under\u00a0Profile Photo<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  5. In the blank text editor field, add additional information about the person (e.g., biography, research interests, publications, etc.)<\/li>\n
  6. Categorize<\/a> your people post.<\/li>\n
  7. Save, schedule, or publish<\/a> the profile.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Pull a people listing onto a page<\/h3>\n

    1. \"\"<\/a>Add\/Edit the page on which you would like to put a people listing.<\/li>\n
    2. Click Insert Post Element<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    3. Click the List People<\/strong> icon.<\/li>\n
    4. Choose the category or categories of people you would like to list, or leave all the boxed unchecked to list all people.<\/li>\n
    5. Click Insert Element<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    6. Update the page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
